Interview with January Seraph

Read below our interview with the wonderful Pornsaint January Seraph (rendered by Joshua Burbank).

- Why do you get naked in front of a camera?

I'm an exhibitionist to a certain degree.  But mainly, I'm just really comfortable with my body and sexuality, and have found a way to make money doing something I love- sex and eroticism.  

- Does pornography influences your love sphere?

I incorporate pornography into my own personal sex life to a moderate degree.  

- Are you in love?

Not right now.  I'm currently a bit emotionally unavailable until I get past the hurt of a major heartbreak.

- Is there something sacred?

For me, that special spark of intimacy and truth in BDSM encounters is sacred.

- What do you like in porn?

I love beauty, and authentic interaction.  Authenticity is really quite apparent to me, I can tell the difference between a performer who loves what they do, and there just happens to be cameras there versus someone who is just there for a paycheck and going through the motions.

- What you don't like in porn?

I'm not a fan of low production value.  Production should manage to make people look better than they do in real life, not worse.

- What does "Pornsaint" mean to you?

"Pornsaint" means to me that my performances and images have touched at least one person somewhere so that my work is not just porn- it's taken on a higher meaning and value due to it's artistic merits.

- What is the weirdest thing to happen to you at a shoot?

The realization that the gorgeous rubberdoll I was playing with was actually a frail looking man in his sixties under all of the curvaceous and sexy layers of latex.

- What's your favorite artist?

I loved Michael Hussar for a long time, but I am a new fan of Joshua Burbank- his work is gorgeous :-)
