Interview with Gia Paloma

Why you get naked in front of a camera?

I love people seeing me in my zone, and in a way, inviting them to participate. Some people excel in sports, or in music. I'm taken to another dimension during a really great sex scene. I feel free, and just as Keith Richards and Mic Jagger do on their stage, I am, in my own, amature way, doing, or being released if you will, on a stage of my own. There just happens to be a camera. That part is secondary.

Does pornography influences your love sphere?

It would be impossible for it not to. You have comparative days when you think things can't get much filthier and then something happens after work, when the camera is not rolling and you think wow, "I just trumped myself". The reverse is true too. As far as love making, not just sexual exploration and expression go, I did find myself not being able to get intimate for a time. It may have had more to do with my young age and not wanting to divulge in those feelings, to be irresponsible, who knows.

There's something sacred?

I do honor the beauty of a perfect kiss more than anything. It's like bread in a diet. You can go for awhile without it, but nothing quite completes a great meal like freshly baked bread, there is nothing more satisfying.

What do you like in porn?

The freedom. Sex seems to be an area that so many are self-taught in. Partners undoubtedly help in the journey but in America there are so many negative connotations with sex. In porn, I was given a sexual playground to explore, with so many partners and guides. If I had questions or wanted inspiration I didn't have to seek it out, I merely looked to either side, or below, or above (hahaha)..... The important thing was how shame free it all was, and growing up with a sexually oppressing religion, society, government ect, it felt ok to be me.

What you don't like in porn?

How young girls are. They need to change the age requirement from 18 to 21 at the very least. For those that are continuing to read the rest of my opinion, I say this because I once was 19 and having sex on camera. That didn't ruin me, but I didn't understand what was between my legs, and more importantly, between my ears. I was lacking the maturity required in truly good sex. To be knowledgeably uninhibited, and confidant. To be a ravishingly sexual entity- knowing what pleases them, and wanting to please others. I see way too many young girls in porn that have never had an orgasm or don't believe in having one on camera. These girls are in the wrong business. Girls are now losing their virginity on camera as well. It's becoming another quick buck outlet. And directors are eager to shoot the barely legal ones, yet the satisfying scenes are held by Belladonna, Ginger Lynn, Nina Hartley, and amature MILFs that got into the business to have more sex. I know this answer may seem to contradict my last, but for those that enjoyed my scenes, I guarantee they would have been so much better had I waited to get to know myself a little better.

Somebody whose poop has been captured on tape-accidentally or not. haha

What is the weirdest thing to happen to you at a shoot?

The weirdest thing was one day I showed a little early on set and everything went perfectly. Totally according to plan, without one hiccup. Because the truth is, when on set, everything that can go wrong, usually will. I tie that with no one asking me to shove something giant up my butt or down my throat. Those days just didn't happen very often!
