1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?

I began working in the adult industry about eight years ago in a variety of jobs behind the scenes. I made adult fetish websites and fem-dom films (female dominatrix). I also worked with a TS (transsexual) girl, as webmaster for her site. That is when I had the idea to start my own membership site, www.transexual-man.com because there was nothing else like it (no other female-to-male transsexuals). That was about four years ago.

2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?

I’d probably be an auto mechanic! HAHA!! Before my sex change I really wanted to open an auto shop that was promoted to women. I knew so many women at the time who never felt comfortable taking their cars to the auto shop. They always felt like they were getting taken advantage of and ripped off-and sometimes they were.

3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from the industry?

The best thing I have learned is how to do business. I have been lucky to surround myself with many great people in the industry who really want to see me succeed. They have taught me to listen. I really have a problem with just wanting to do everything my way. Well that doesn’t always work. I know I have to learn from the guys/girls who are already successful and willing to share their wisdom with me.

4. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened while filming?

I was shooting a scene with Titan Men (one of the top gay porn companies), and there was a part when the guy in the scene with me was eating my pussy. He was sucking away then he looked up at me and said, “WOW! Buck, they did a great job on your pussy. I would have never known!” He actually thought that I had been born male, had surgically removed my cock, and had a pussy put on instead. I couldn’t believe it. Everyone on the set started to laugh.

5. What do you think is the biggest misconception about the industry?

That we are all a bunch of perverted child molesters that fuck anything that moves whether we are getting paid for it or not. Porn is a business. There are many very professional people working in the field.

You cannot believe the way people look at me when they find out I work in the adult industry. These misconceptions are a huge problem for me, and something that I really want to change in the world. Well, really, mostly the USA is where they have such negativity about sex overall. I feel like it is my duty to show people that what we do can be positive, and that sex is a normal, healthy thing that humans all do (or want to do). We all have sexual needs and desires. Porn is not simply dirty or bad; it serves an important function by helping people get off. And some porn, including mine, also helps educate them. I am determined to change the narrow way people have thought about sexuality and gender, and I see it happening.

6. What did you do today?

I am always doing business! I can’t seem to just relax. I moved to a wonderful place in the Yucatan in Mexico and today I spent most of the day on the computer and on the phone.

7. What would you rather have done today?

Spend time with my wife and our dogs. It would have been nice to go to the beach with them, and chill out.

8. If you could do a movie with anyone (living or brought back from the dead) who would it be?

James Dean comes to mind. I think he was a sad soul who had some inner demons. Maybe if we had been able to hang out and do a movie together he would have seen how there is always a chance to change and be happy!

9. Who is your favorite adult performer?

In the gay genre it is my buddy, Jake Deckard. He is so awesome and sexy. Also he is very focused and brings professionalism to the business, which is so important.
In straight porn, I would say I love Tera Patrick. She also is a friend, and she is so sexy and beautiful, and she is an amazing performer. She is very hard working and also focused on being a true professional in the industry. She really presents herself in a positive way. I think that is so important to show that we are not all lost and tragic, or drugged-out and dumb!

10. You’ve got 20 bucks left to your name; what would you do with it?

Buy a great cigar and hope for the best!

11. If you were president, what’s the first thing you’d change?

OMG! That is a great question. First I’d bring our soldiers home from Iraq. Then I would change the welfare system. It is a trap. It gets people totally hooked without any other options. I think it is a great American Tragedy. I think it would give people a sense of worth and more pride if they didn’t feel as though they had to rely on the government to live. I would also change the laws about prostitution. I would make it legal and run it like a business: have the workers get tested, pay taxes, and so on. There’s a lot of things I would change!

12. What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?

Well, I do plenty of things that seem embarrassing for other people, which is pretty interesting to watch. For example, I feel totally comfortable when I go to the nude beach or to the gym, where I shower and change in the men’s locker room. But it is so interesting to watch how embarrassed other people get, as they try so hard to NOT look at my genitals. They assume that I’m a man with a small penis. In this day and age it is hard to imagine that our own human bodies remain so taboo to so many people!

13. Which is your favorite project you’ve worked on?

My film, Buckback Mountain. It was such a wonderful experience. All of my friends pitched in to help create it. You can see the quality in the entire production. I feel so proud of that movie. This year it was nominated for a GAYVN award.

14. If you could have 1 superpower what would it be?

I would say it would be amazing to be able to read people’s minds. I like the idea of getting into their heads and really seeing what’s in there, and being able to go beyond hearing what people say. Because, as we all know, what people say and what they really think isn’t always the same thing.

15. Meat or veggie?

I am a meat and potatoes kinda man all the way. I love meat and also because I work out so much I really feel like I need that type of protein to build muscles. My body is different than most men’s because I don’t produce testosterone like they do. So I have to eat as much protein as possible in between my testosterone shots, so I can build muscle.

16. What is your favorite book?

MAYBE THE MOON by Armistead Maupin. If you haven’t read it you should! It was so awesome. To be honest I really just started reading books. I never enjoyed it before. But now that I live in Mexico and have this wonderful relaxing home life, it is just the thing to do. I love that book!

17. What is your biggest pet peeve?

Judgment! Especially when ignorance is involved. I hate when people make judgments about something they have no idea about. Of course I am talking about me. People say and do some stupid things out of judgment-and ignorance. Try learning about the subject before you decide that you know what is going on.

18. What is your best piece of sex advice for women?

Take control of your own body! Too many women feel intimidated or uncomfortable during sex. I think it is important for you to know what you want and need, and to communicate it to your partner. He or she will appreciate you telling them. Remember, we can’t read minds, so give your partner clues and feedback about how you’re feeling.

19. What is your favorite adult movie?

Behind The Green Door, by The Mitchell Brothers. I love old classic porn! It just has a certain look that I like.

20. Tell me one thing you’ve never told anyone else.
