The Book of Hours

Our Pornbishop Jan Van Rijn did this wonderful art book. It's a collection of erotic short prose and poems originated in reference to the extensively ornamented, illustrated clerical manuscripts, widely spread in the 14th and 15th century. With exclusive contributions of 13 different authors (one it's me!). As different as their individual backgrounds, as many layered are the facets of their contributions. Each one, individually set and lovingly ornamented, juxtaposes one of Van Riijn's drawings.

I got it today in my mail, and it's beautiful.

This is my short text for this beautiful illustration (forgive me, I'm not a poet):

it's not a sun that´s scorching the sky but the raging perfection; sphere of envy who has overheard calculations of a half open moon's π. burning and fearing because we could, while entering, forget our trepidations, the tyranny of beauty, the meaning of this life, too divine.
