If you are around Berlin, be sure to go to Francesco D'Isa (aka the Pornpope) solo show at Cell63 Gallery. if you are in Italy on the other hand, you can see his art at Ex Eliografica (Perugia).

An interesting serie of work by Ryan McGinness presented by Country Club at Club Madonna, Miami

Thanks to a visit to Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin, I discovered the creepy interesting work of Henry Darger (ca. April 12, 1892 – April 13, 1973). When I saw his drawing I felt an oppressing and fascinating sense of delirium. Then I googled him.

Coming up next month on May 13th, the Strychnin Gallery in Berlin will be presenting The Enchanted Forest. The group show, which features forest inspired imagery and partially benefits theWWF, was apparently put on in concordance with the United Nation’s International Year of Forests.  Artists include Luke Chueh, Mia Araujo, Travis Lampe, Lindsey Carr, our pornbishop Tom Bagshaw and many more. For a deeper walkthrough on the piece above take a look to his blog. (via Arrested Motion).

Each early issue features a full-color "pin up": an erotic work by an artist like Leonor Fini..."

(via Creep Machine) Opening yesterday, April 16th at the Opera Gallery in New York is the first solo show by John-John Jesse in years. This show will feature new work by the artist and even a limited edition giclee print of “The Story of my Life” (shown first) will also be available at the show. Curated Mag sent photographer Jacob Breinholt to the gallery to take some photos, you can see those here. If your in the area make sure to stop by and check out the work, otherwise take a look at the Opera Gallery page, no matter how frustrating it is to move around in.
